There are times when you just want some people to watch your document, not every body. For this purpose, giving a password to your document is one of the simple way. Here is the step by step guide to give a password on your .zip or .rar files :

1. Open the folder with the files that need to be compressed, pick the files, right click, and choose “Add to Archive”.

2. Click Advanced tab and Push “Set password” button

3. Enter your password twice, then click OK

4. Click OK, the compression process will be started.

5. After finished, your .zip / .rar document is ready and protected now. It can only be opened by the person who knows the password.

Ada kalanya Anda ingin agar dokumen Anda hanya bisa dilihat oleh Anda dan rekan-rekan dekat saja. Untuk keperluan ini, memberikan password pada dokumen merupakan salah satu caranya. Disini saya akan membagikan caranya untuk memberikan password pada file .zip atau .rar. Berikut ini langkah-langkahnya :

1. Buka folder yang berisi file-file yang ingin dikompres, pilih filenya, klik kanan dan pilih “Add to Archive”.

2. Pilih tab Advanced dan Klik tombol Set password

3. Isikan password yang diinginkan dua kali, lalu klik OK.

4. Klik OK, selanjutnya dokumen tersebut akan dikompres.

5. Dokumen .zip/.rar Anda sudah terproteksi dengan password dan hanya bisa dibuka oleh orang yang mengetahui passwordnya.
